Newton Manor House forms the major section of an ancient stone built listed building of considerable character. The interior has a wealth of period features including ornate oak panelling and Jacobean fireplaces. The manor is in a residential area one mile away from the centre of the seaside resort of Swanage with its numerous shops, restaurants and sandy beach. Purbeck boasts many fine unspoilt beaches and is glorious walking country with both the coast path and numerous inland trails. Watersports are available at Studland and Poole, Tennis and sea fishing in Swanage and there are several golf courses within easy reach. The Manor can be booked in conjunction with Newton Hall.
